Acting as casually as I could, I sidled up to the shady figure sitting at a
table in the back.
I didn't know his name, but I knew who he was. Every town has somebody like
him, somebody who can fix your problems. You never want to deal with him, but
sometimes you've got no choice.
My record wasn't squeaky clean. I'd messed up a case or two. He could get
those black marks off my record...for a price.
