Hi mate We have a bit of an issue at the moment that concerns AOS. To cut a long story short, some of our members are under attack from one of the PTT tribes, PTTc65 In fairness to PTT, these members of ours that are under attack, (lets call them the "offenders") did first of all attack and take some villages from a member of PTTc65. This was done without our knowledge and I can say that had we known of this, we would never have allowed it. However what's done is done and we are trying to rectify the situation. The aristocrats in PTTc65 seem to think that we should kick the offenders out of the tribe so that they can be dealt with without turning the whole event into a tribal war. This however has never been, nor will be, our policy and while we understand PTT's desire to avenge their tribemate, we would prefer to discipline the offenders ourselves for going rogue like that and compensate PTT for the troubles that these two members caused without tribal permission. At the moment things are a bit up in the air diplomatically and PTTc65 are still continuing with their attacks on the offenders. We have told them that we don't want a tribal war (which I don't think they want either to be honest) and that it is local conflict, so our members have been ordered not to retaliate against other PTT members as if that happened then the matter would definitely escalate to the point of no return very quickly. However having said that, if we cannot resolve this matter in a productive manner then we will not be bullied by PTTc65 and we will retaliate if pushed into that corner. I repeat this is not what we want but if an agreement on this matter cannot be reached then we will have no other option. Obviously we would prefer to negotiate a peaceful resolution. If the worst does happen and PTTc65 do not want to negogiate, and want another war, as well as the ones they have currently with other large tribes, then I would like to point out that we will not initiate hostilities with other PTT tribes or indeed AOS, only the tribes that have attacked us first. I really hope this issue can be resolved but I felt I should inform you of the situation regardless. We feel we have a good relationship with AOS as things stand and would like this to continue. I am also now a Baron for our tribe so I can deal with diplomatic matters, and I feel that a NAP with AOS would be of benefit to both our tribal groups. Do you want to get in touch with your diplomat, Legends , and see if he thinks a NAP would be a good idea? I could and may contact him myself but I feel a word from yourself might help matters as we have always had a good understanding. If you wish you can forward this mail to him as well as we have nothing to hide from AOS and maybe you guys can have a word with PTTc65 about their unwillingness to cooperate in finding a peaceful resolution.
