跟二代相隔11年後 Triumph Studios發佈第三代預計今年上市從網站透露的特色，大概就是畫面從2D變成3D、劇情模式分成兩個派系、各職業英雄單位 RPG化、提供工具自製遊戲內容、隨機地圖、多人遊戲（後三點同前作）可惜遊戲種族數量未知 http://www.ageofwonders.com/ Key features include: Explore, expand and exploit a living fantasy world.
