NBA Live 08的新噱頭：FIBA World Championship 模式
簡單來說就是EA跟FIBA簽約，取得世界籃球錦標賽八個參賽國家的隊名跟球員實名權
，Live08跟之後的系列作會有一個模式是世錦賽模式，八隻國家隊單淘汰制爭奪真正
的世界冠軍，包括美、德、義、西、中、法、阿、希，國際球員亦可在王朝模式中出
現。

雖說把世界國家隊搞進去算是Live系列官方新嘗試，但是在非官方的MOD這已經不是
新鮮事了。
Live07的大挫敗看來真的讓EA嚇到了，Live系列史上第一次銷售量敗給2K系列（只算
家機？！）、骨灰玩家集結大反彈，只好趕快花大錢買世界隊的獨家版權希望帶來新
鮮感，但是錢買不到的gameplay部份呢......（挖角2K製作小組）
