Jan 31, 2008 - 4:52 AM - by xiaNaix Rumors are rampant on various forums, including 2ch and GBATemp that "Super Smash Brothers Brawl" is not working with Wiikey. Information is extremely vague and any rumors should be treated as just that... rumors. The thread starter on GBATemp has provided a YouTube video supposedly showing SSBB giving a read error on Wiikey. There are numerous problems with this. The most important point is that he is trying to boot a Japanese ORIGINAL of the game on an AMERICAN Wii system. Support for other region games is spotty at best. The video proves nothing. Some have speculated that it is the Wiikey's lack of Dual-Layer support that could be causing the issue. We have contacted the Wiikey team and informed them of these recent rumors and should have a response in the next couple of days. Rest assured that makers of ALL modchips will be working hard to make sure that this game is fully compatible with their chips.
