As before, you won't receive duplicates unless you already own all the items in the pack. However, once you own all the items you may now click to purchase selected duplicates. This means that if you wish to obtain more of a certain crew to fill out your ships, or more of a specific weapon to bolster your Galaxydome team, you'll no longer have to gamble for them. For those unfamiliar with the terms, note the special orange text abilities described on equipment and officers' tool-tips. When there's a triggered raid ability, such as a chance to cause bonus damage, that's a proc. When there's a static effect, such as a bonus to Stamina if the item is equipped, that's an effect. In theory you shouldn't notice any mechanical differences to procs when you play. At your end they should work exactly as they did before. But the changes will hopefully improve the game's performance.
