[情報] Titanfall 2的X1X強化 成像解析度不鎖上限

Titanfall 2即將於6/26釋出新的DLC,在官網最近的更新資訊報告上,
談到了對Xbox One X的支援:
Titanfall 2 will support Xbox One X. This means 4K resolution for increased
fidelity as well as support for dynamic super scaling.

一位Respawn開發人員在NeoGAF的留言,為官方這段資訊做了補充
When it comes to X1X it means there are times it'll render at higher than 4K
and then downsample to whatever resolution the X1X is outputting to. Its is
truly glorious on a 4K display. This quote will come back to haunt me, I'm
sure, but there were times on Wargames last time I was testing where it was
rendering at ~3200p (6K?) internally. The internal render resolution is
dictated by the GPU load, so obviously there are no guarantees as to how
often it renders at particular resolutions, but essentially we're using 100%
GPU all the time.
遊戲的原始成像解析度是動態的,會視遊戲負載,讓X1X的GPU一直保持最高負載(100%);
所以他表示,很難保證原始成像會經常保持在哪個特定解析度,有時會高於4K解析度,
然後再超取樣到X1X的輸出解析度
就他的經驗,上次他在測試Wargames(遊戲新DLC地圖)時,有時成像解析度
會飆到3200P(6144*3160)。

雖然從6K超取樣到4K聽起來很狂,
但也有可能會有低於4K,然後補插拉到4K的可能,
就等X1X推出後,DF之類的網站做效能分析來知道會不有這種情形
我倒是覺得這發言另一個重點在於,X1X的機體散熱可能做得非常優秀
遊戲從頭到尾都要讓GPU保持在100%負載

下一代若是3、4年之後推出,理論上應該是會超過10TF不少
但應該不會像之前那樣跳個4、5倍的浮點能力
