So essentially, 2K is already running on a brand new engine... and an ever evolving one. Now, over the last couple years, the team has done a great job pushing 2K basketball further and resolving several of the issues that have plagued the series since we moved to this console gen. But there are obviously still several aspects of the game ("engine") that we weren't happy with after 2K10.
