"Nichibutsu My Vision emulated for the first time"
MESS is officially the first emulator with working support for
Nichibutsu's My Vision console. In 1983, Nichibutsu brought the
excitement of video mahjong from the arcades home. Too bad they
got steamrolled by the Famicom. Thanks to ranger_lenier for securing
dumps of two thirds of the launch titles, and judge for emulating
this with no PCB pictures and precious few specs.
The six launch titles are the only known games, and two are still
undumped (mastermind and reversi). If anyone can get a control panel
scan, scans of the control panel overlays supplied with the games,
good PCB photos, component identification, or clock speed measurement,
it would be much appreciated.
