It’s with great pleasure that Eidos and BGS can announce the Official CM2010
Editor will be released this Friday at 1700 GMT.
The Editor will allow you to customise the data from the game to your liking.
You'll be able to edit all the data for the clubs, kits, stadia, staff and
players from Championship Manager 2010. That’s not all, once you’ve created
your custom database you’ll be able to share it with users on the forum,
more info on that to come later.
At the time of posting here’s a list of the features you can expect from the
editor:
Clubs:
Club names (including nicknames and media names) will be editable, as will
general ratings for the clubs (reputation, youth development, etc) Club
finance settings can also be changed and we’ve included the option to edit
Stadium details. There’s even the ability to edit all the club’s kits.
Staff:
Whether it’s managers, coaches, physios or scouts, you can edit their
personal data (e.g. name, D.O.B, nationality, place of birth etc) as well as
their contract data, attributes & potential ability.
Players:
Alongside being able to edit the same data as you can for Staff, with players
you have far more attributes to edit, including their personal tendencies
(e.g. to what extent the a player runs with the ball or looks to release
others), a player’s positional information, career history, and also their
appearance, which will be reflected in the 3D match engine.
Players and staff are also transferable between clubs in the editor (although
you cannot swap clubs between divisions/countries in this version) including
adding in loan transfers. You can even give players a ‘future transfer’
within the editor, allowing you to pre-arrange for players to sign in the
next transfer window.
Edit and create your own fantasy team and have them 100% playable in
Championship Manager 2010 – coming this Friday!
